A. MEDIEVAL AND TRADITIONAL FOLK INSTRUMENTS:
Rebec and medieval fiddle (vielle) made in 1973 by Mr. Branko Grdjan (retired soloist of the best croatian folk music ensemble LADO from Zagreb and instrument maker of croatian traditional folk instruments).
B. RENAISSANCE AND BAROQUE INSTRUMENTS:
Lira da braccio (1981) and Lira da gamba/Lirone (1984) have been made after (once believed originals) in the “Sammlung Alte Musikinstrumente des Kunsthistorischen Museum” Vienna by then music instrument maker Robert Hadaway (WallesU.K.). The tenor viol has been made in 1970 by german viol maker Eberhard Pfaff (Marburg/Lahn). My Barock viola has been restored from an original instrument from the late 18th century by viennese violin maker Peter Tunkowitsch.
C. MODERN INSTRUMENTS:
Turbofiddle as a kind of combination of violin and viola with one outboard bass string, have been made 1998 on the basis of a Bohemian violin from middle 19th century by viennese viol maker Walter Schmidt.
The modern violin belonged to my late father, Ferdo Pomykalo. The E-violin (Silent Violin SV-110K) was made by Yamaha.
